From 1 December 2021, citizens of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) who are considered fully vaccinated will be able to travel from the Republic of Korea to Australia without seeking a travel exemption and quarantine-free to participating states of territories.
2021년 12월 1일부터 백신접종을 완료한 대한민국 국민은 Travel Exemption과 자가 격리없이 호주로 여행을 할 수 있습니다.
Elgibility (자격요건)
To be eligible, travellers must:
ㆍhold a passport from the Republic of Korea (South Korea)
→ 대한민국 여권을 소지한 자
ㆍhold a valid Australian visa.
→ 유효한 호주 비자를 소지한 자
ㆍbe fully vaccinated with a completed dosage of a vaccine approved or recognised by Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)
→ 호주 TGA(Therapeutic)에서 승인하거나 인정한 & 완전한 용량의 백신으로 백신 접종을 완료한 자
※ Children under 12 and those who are medically exempt from COVID-19 vaccination can access the same arrangements as fully vaccinated travellers. : 12세 미만의 어린이와 의학적으로 예방 접종이 면제된 사람은 백신 접종을 완료한 사람과 동일하게 인정합니다.
※ Arrangements are also in place to permit unvaccinated minors aged 12-17 years to travel with a fully-vaccinated adult. Travellers should check the specific requirements with the state or territory to which they are travelling. : 백신을 접종하지 않은 12-17세의 미성년자도 백신 접종을 완료한 성인과 함께 호주 입국이 가능하며, 여행하는 주 또는 준주의 특정 요구사항을 확인하시기 바랍니다.
ㆍ depart from the Republic of Korea and arrive in a participating Australian state or territory.
→ 한국에서 출발하여 호주에 도착한 자
ㆍ provide proof of their vaccination status.
→ 백신접종 상태에 대한 증명을 제공한 자
ㆍpresent a negative COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test taken within 3 days of departure (unless a medical exemption applies).
→ 출발 3일 이내 COVID-19 PCR 검사 결과가 음성인 자 (의학적 면제가 적용되지 않는 경우)
The arrangement only applies to South Korean citizens travelling from South Korea. Eligible travellers will not need to have been in South Korea for 14 days before their proposed travel.
이 협정은 오직 한국에서부터 호주로 입국하는 대한민국 국민에게만 적용되며, 호주로 입국 전 14일 동안 한국에 체류할 필요는 없습니다.
South Korean citizens travelling from countries other than South Korea are not eligible.
한국 이외의 나라에서 출발하는 대한민국 국민은 자격 요건 대상이 아닙니다.
If a South Korean citizen is travelling with family members, including dependent children, who are not also citizens of South Korea (or Australian citizens or permanent residents), those family members are not eligible to travel to Australia unless they hold an eligible visa or a travel exemption. Travel exemption requests are assessed on a case by case basis.
만약 대한민국 국민이, 한국 국적이 아닌 가족 구성원과 함께 호주로 입국하는 경우, 그 가족 구성원이 호주시민권자 또는 영주권자가 아닌라면 호주로 입국할 수 있는 자격 요건 대상이 아닙니다.

Travellers to Australia should complete an Australia Travel Declaration (ATD) at least 72 hours before departure. The ATD contains a declaration regarding your vaccination status that is considered to be critical health information. You must be able to provide evidence that you made this declaration before boarding the aircraft.
호주로 입국하는 사람은 출발 72시간 전에 호주여행신고서(ATD)를 작성해야 합니다. 호주여행신고서 ATD에는 중요한 건강 정보인 백신접종 상태에 대한 선언이 포함되어 있으며, 항공기 탑승 전 ATD를 declaration 했다는 evidence를 제공해야 합니다.
